RONALD J. ALIC age 80, beloved husband for 56 years of Frances (nee Avcin); loving father of Sr. Mary Joseph (Diane) PCPA, Andrea Kampe (husband Peter), David (wife Kim) and Stephen (wife Nancy); devoted grandfather of Aleksandra, Mara, Matthew, Luke, Andrew, Andra Kampe, Frances, Amelia, Joshua, Clare and Marie Alic; cherished son of the late Joseph and Antonia (nee Trepal); dearest brother of the late infant Walter and Norma Grif (husband Alfred, deceased); fond brother-in-law of Jack and Kathy Avcin; dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend of many.
Ron was born on May 31, 1936 in Cleveland and passed away May 17, 2017. He was a member of the first graduating class of St. Joseph High School in 1954. Ron was a member of Local Union #55 Plumbers, Knights of Columbus Wickliffe Council 5405, and Pipefitters General Motors Parma Local Union. He loved golf and gardening. Ron volunteered at St. Paul Shrine for the sisters. He enjoyed playing the button-box and loved music and dancing. Ron will be remembered as a giving, generous, hard-working, outgoing, friendly and helpful man. He will be greatly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, May 20, 2017 at St. Paul Shrine at 10 AM. Burial following with Military Honors at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Ron at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 3-5 & 6-8 PM.
