RONALD G. RAWLEY, aged 77 years, beloved husband of the late Sharon (nee Plesko), dear father of Michael J. (wife Maureen), Robert R. (deceased) and Edward F. (wife Susan), dearest father-in-law to Magdalena Rawley Domann, loving Poppa of Joseph M. (wife Sarah), Cathryn M. Stegmoyer (husband Matthew), Karen, Matthew, William R. and Steven R., treasured great-grandfather of Brennan, Susannah and Adyline, devoted son of the late Frank and Esther (nee Fletcher), cherished brother of Daniel, Jerry, Susan Padavick, Jane Aukens and Thomas, fond uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle to many.

Mr. Rawley died Saturday, Oct. 13 at Kemper House in Mentor. He was born on May 5, 1935 in Cleveland. He was a 20 year resident of Twinsburg, previously residing in Bainbridge and South Euclid. He was a graduate of Shaw High School, and married the former Sharon Plesko in St. Philomena Catholic Church in East Cleveland on Sept. 28, 1957. He was the owner / operator from 1969 until 1996 of Ron’s Shell Service on Wilson Mills Rd at Bishop Rd. Through his station, he mentored many boys from the Highland Heights, Mayfield Heights and Lyndhurst areas. He was a member of the Northern Ohio Petroleum Retailers Association and a life-time member of the Case Knife Collectors Club.

The family wishes to extend their thanks to Kemper House for their loving care of Ron and his family. In lieu of flowers, contributions suggested to Grace Hospice of Mentor, 7314 Industrial Park Blvd., Mentor, OH. 44060.

Relatives and friends are requested to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor, at 10 AM. Burial following in All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Ron at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) WEDNESDAY 3-5 AND 6-8 PM.
