Ronald Lee Eliason Sr.

RONALD LEE ELIASON SR. age 86, former husband of Sue; loving father of Ronald Jr. (wife Kathy), Randy (wife Marie), and the late Richard; devoted grandfather of Nicholas, Tyler (wife Natalie), Danielle, Lindsey (husband Jim), Erica, Matthew (wife Joy), Kevin (wife Katie), Brian, and David and great grandfather of Willow, Lucy, Xander, and Quinn; cherished son of the late Leonard and Ann (nee Stanley); dearest brother of the late Rudy, Judy Marek, and Leonard Jr. 

Ronald was born on March 12, 1938, in Foster, West Virginia and spent most of his life as a resident of Cuyahoga Heights. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Over the years, Ron displayed many attributes and skills. He was hardworking, proficient in the sport of baseball, and passionate and patient when it came to gardening vegetables and growing trees around his property. Although he enjoyed his solitude, Ron truly enjoyed visiting the Chardon Library where, amongst the silence, he made many new friends. On October 26, 2024, Ron passed away leaving his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, whom he deeply cared for, missing him without end. 

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Ronald at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY OF CHARDON (formerly Ritondaro) 126 SOUTH ST. (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Friday, November 1, 2024, from 12 Noon -1 PM.

A prayer service will immediately follow at 1PM. 

Entombment following with Military Honors at All Souls Cemetery.
