Ronald C. Snyder

RONALD C. SNYDER age 77, beloved husband of Janice (nee Leonhardt); loving father of Ronald D. (wife Amanda); devoted grandfather of Madelyn and Ronald; cherished son of the late Clinton and Ruth (nee Martin); dearest brother of Harold Ackerman (deceased) (wife Elaine), Arthur Ackerman (wife Pita Ann), Jeanette Yanda, Kenneth Yanda (wife Pamela), Evelynne Conrad (husband Terry) and Beth Yanda. U.S. Army Veteran.

Ronald was born January 8, 1940 in Cleveland and sadly passed away on September 4, 2017. He graduated from Collinwood High School. Ronald was a retired Richmond Heights Firefighter and EMT and served in the U.S. Army for two years. He was a member of the Northeast Yacht Club and loved traveling, fishing, and boating. Ronald greatly enjoyed animals, volunteering at the Lake Farm Park and being a firefighter. He enjoyed watching survival shows in his free time. Ronald never rocked the boat nor complained. He was warm, gentle, and a friend to many. Ronald will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Ronald to Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St Clair Ave, Cleveland, OH 44110. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, September 9, 2017 at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church at 10:30 AM followed by Military Honors. Cremation by THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91).
