A Mass of Christian Burial for Ronald “Ronnie Moon” Budzilek will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday December 24, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Church 4129 Superior Ave. Cleveland, OH 44103 followed by entombment in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.

Mr. Budzilek died Saturday at the Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland. He lived in Cleveland Slavic Village until moving to Wickliffe nine years ago. A jazz accordionist and vocalist, he performed at the officer’s club at Fort Knox while in the Army, he was a member of the Three Suns Trio and played with various jazz ensembles. Most recently, he played monthly at the Slovenian Natonal Home with Al Battistelli. He also attended the Wickliffe Senior Center.

He is survived by his wife Patricia (Lenardic-Habat); sisters Clare (Robert) Callahan, Mary Ann (Carl deceased) Kostal and Kathleen (Christopher) Colon. He was preceded in death by his sister Joan Cianciolo and step-daughter Monica Mikolic.

Family will receive friends Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Zevnik-Cosic Funeral Home 28890 Chardon Rd. Willoughby Hills, OH.
