Roger L. Huston, 67, of Chardon, passed away on July 18, 2014 at Lake West Medical Center. He was born Aug. 5, 1946 in Muskegon, Mich.
Roger moved to Chardon from Michigan in 1974. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Conflict Veteran. After graduating from high school in Michigan, Roger received his Associates Degree from Ferris State in Architectural Drafting and worked as an Architectural Draftsman. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and reading. He will be remembered as a quiet, intelligent man.
He is survived by his wife, Connie (nee Eging), to whom he was married for 40 years; his daughter, Heather; grandchildren, Ben and TJ; mother, Etta M. (nee Carskadon); brothers, Dusty of Germany, Barry (wife Donna) of Port Charlotte, Fla. and Steven (wife Teresa) of Muskegon, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Jay. Private Services will take place in Muskegan, Mich. at a later date.
Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Arrangements by DeJohn Funeral Home and Crematory of Chardon, (formerly Ritondaro), 126 South St (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square). Family suggests contributions may be made in Roger’s memory to the charity of your choice.
