ROBERT S. BLASSE, age 91. Beloved husband for 37 years of Betty J. (nee Hoge) and the late Helen (nee Horgan). Loving father of Barbara Black (husband John), Karen Singleton, Patricia Comai (husband Thomas), Margaret Blasse and step-father of Timothy Logan and Linda Kovach (husband Steven). Devoted grandfather of David Black (wife Robyn) and Denise Black, Joseph and Patrick Antenucci and step-grandfather of Cara and Keith Kovach, Timothy Hebebrand (wife Chris), Teresa Kerr (husband David) and step-great-grandfather of 5. Cherished son of the late Frank E. and Vera (nee Stevens). Dearest brother of the late Frank E., Jr and Loreen Blasse. Dear uncle and great-uncle. World War II U.S. Army- Air Corp Veteran.
Mr. Blasse was a proud volunteer at the Hillcrest chapter of Meals-on-Wheels for 22 years. He resided in South Euclid since 1980 and previously lived in Cleveland Heights. Bob was a member of St. Margaret Mary Parish in South Euclid since 1949 where he ushered and belong to the Knights of Columbus. He graduated from Shaw High School and spent several years attending the former Dyke College. Bob was a Production Control Manager at Lincoln Electric Company for 43 years. He enjoyed golf, bowling and Big Band music. Bob loved travelling to Myrtle Beach and especially enjoyed his children. His family remembers him as a caring, concerned and loving father who was a dependable, good guy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at St Clare Catholic Church at 9:30 AM. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory Private inurnment at Calvary Cemetery.
The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Bob at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) FRIDAY 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
