ROBERT JOSEPH RIZNAR age 89, loving husband and devoted father, entered into eternal peace, March 29, 2016. He was the beloved husband for 63 years of Eleanor (nee Pavli); loving father of Joseph Riznar and Janet Bay (husband James); devoted grandfather of Ryan Waggoner; dearest brother of the late Anna Goga and Antoinette “Nettie” Jersan; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.
Born in Cleveland, May 29, 1926 to Joseph and Johanna Riznar, he attended St. Paul Catholic School and Collinwood High School. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater. From 1947 to his retirement in 1989, he worked as a tool and die expert and manufacturing supervisor for Crescent Metal Products (Cres-Cor) of Cleveland. He was a member of St. John of the Cross/St. Felicitas in Euclid and was a member of ALMA Lodge, Blejsko Jerezo #27. Robert will be remembered by his family and friends as witty and modest with a sense of humor. He loved Christmas and enjoyed playing Santa.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, April 4, 2016 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church at 9:30 AM. Burial following with Military Honors at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Robert at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SUNDAY 2-6 PM.
