Robert Morehouse

ROBERT A. MOREHOUSE, 88, beloved husband of the late Joan Sullivan, passed away peacefully at his home Oct. 17, 2009. Proud father of Nancy A. Coyne of Willoughby, Barbara A. (James) Montague of Chesterland, Butch (Shelley) of Chagrin Falls, Doug of Novelty, and Judith A. (John) Pellegrini of Willoughby. Loving grandfather of 15. Great-grandfather of 12. Brother of Betty J. (Dick) Miller of Raleigh, NC. Uncle to many, and loving friend of Lynda C. Burke of South Euclid. Bob was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.

Mr. Morehouse was a member of the Plumbers Local 55. He worked for Cleveland Plumbing and Heating, retiring from University Hospitals in 1983. He was a tail gunner in the U.S. Air Force serving in WWII and was also a standout in baseball for the Air Force. He played in the St. Francis of Assisi and Forest Hills softball leagues. He was an avid golfer and loved teaching everyone how to golf. He looked forward to his winter Florida trips to Emerald Woods in Naples where he leaves many friends behind.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at St. Anselm Catholic Church in Chesterland at 9:30 AM.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON RD., WILLOUGHBY HILLS, OHIO. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon. Arrangements entrusted to the KEVIN M. COYNE FUNERAL SERVICE.
