ROBERT J. LIVINGSTON, age 52, beloved husband for 7 years of Carita A. (nee Phillips); devoted father of Ryan J.; loving son of Alice (nee Gutoskey) and Clyde A. Sr.; cherished brother of Clyde Jr. “Bud” (wife Peggy) of NJ; dearest son-in-law of Carita (nee Farinacci) and Alan Phillips and brother-in-law of Nick and Amber Phillips and Michelle and Josh Patty; adored uncle of Brooke (husband David) Thomas, Megan (husband Andy) Pocock, Nicholas and Lexi Phillips, Molly and Tommy Patty; dear nephew and cousin of many.

Rob was a resident of Mayfield Heights after moving from Euclid, where he lived for 10 years. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and belonged to a number of coaching associations. After graduating from Midpark High School, he received his Bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University and worked as a teacher at Lakeside Hgh School in Ashtabula for nine years and NDCL for seven years. He enjoyed basketball, listening to most kinds of music and spending time with his family, especially reunions. He will be fondly remembered as a strong, sensitive, kind, caring man who was concerned for others and an inspiration to many.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rob’s memory at The Mayfield Heights Branch of The Charter One Bank c/o Carita Livingston for Ryan’s educational fund.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 11:30 AM. Burial following in Whitehaven Memorial Park. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rob at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) MONDAY 1-4 and 6-8 PM.
