Bob was born on September 6th, 1940 in Cleveland Heights and passed away on April 2nd, 2018. He was a resident of Kirtland for 34 years. Bob graduated from Cleveland Heights High School. He was married to his beloved wife for 52 years before her passing, and had three wonderful children. Bob had the American dream. He retired in 2002 as the Vice President of Employee Relations for Preformed Line Products (PLP) after working for the company for 42 years, having started in the mail room. Bob was a member of Divine Word Catholic Church where he sang in the choir and volunteered at events. His retirement hobbies included crafting jewelry, woodworking, tumbling rocks and making maple syrup. Every Thursday was spent with his with his buddies from the gun club where they found more excuses to eat than to actually shoot trap. Bob loved to sing, loved music and had even taught himself to play the organ by ear. He loved animals. But what meant the most to Bob was time spent with his children and grandchildren. Bob will be remembered most as a kind-hearted, patient and humble man. A true people-person with a strong moral compass. Bob was a genuine guy and will be dearly missed.
