Robert Koeth

ROBERT J. KOETH passed away July 5, 2016 at the age of 93. Beloved husband for 73 years of Regina (nee Pienkowski); loving father of Karen Kopaniky (Dennis MD, deceased), Kathleen Szczepaniak (Dennis), Robert (Barbara) and Marie Stelson (Thomas); proud and devoted grandfather of David Kopaniky (Jodi), Ellyn Pulido (Jose), Lindsey Geiss (Paul DDS), Kathryn Morrissey (Jeremy), Patrick, Andrew (Natalie), Stephanie Stelson and Daniel Stelson; cherished great-grandfather of Ella, Weston and Audrey. He was the dearest brother of William (Madeline) and his deceased siblings and their late spouses: Edwin (Ann), Loretta Tutie (George), Leona Skorko (Joseph), Marie Thomas (Arthur), Mildred Pianka (John), Lillian DeMarco (Anthony), Richard (Joan), Elmer and Coletta. He was a dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

A World War II United States Navy Veteran, Bob served on the hospital ship USS Solace and retired from the City of Cleveland Water Department where he was a machinist foreman. He was an avid reader, baseball fan and woodworker with a passion for making furniture for family members.

Donations may be made in Bob’s memory to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church 19951 Lakeshore Blvd. Euclid, OH 44119 on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM. His family will receive friends at the church to pay tribute to and celebrate Bob’s life at 10:00 AM until the service. Private interment at All Souls Cemetery.
