ROBERT JAMES BRAY, JR., aged 70 years, dearly beloved husband for 38 years to Marie Yolaine (nee Romain), dear father of Tanya, Robert James III, and Dominique Pruitt (Greg), loving grandfather of Tonjania, Timothy, Tamia and Julius, great-grandfather of Emmalin and Tyler, cherished brother of Christine Davis (John) and the late Sheldon and John, fond uncle and great-uncle. I wish I could tell you that I’m ready to let you go.
To let you depart and fly without a pain in my heart.
I remember how you’d smile, if not with your mouth then with your eyes.
And you’d talk with both heart and mind.
I can still hear you laughing with a circle 2x as you all spilled childhood stories like it was all new.
When family came you played no blue tune, while you put on temptations for some ‘old school’.
And I know that you wouldn’t want us to cry, so I’ll try, while reading the story book of your life.
I’ll try to remember your love and strong, real hugs.
I’ll tell stories of our days and reminisce on old ways.
A uncle, a Father, a Husband, a brother, a friend, you will forever be a phenomenal man.
