ROBERT J. SZCZEPINSKI age 84, beloved husband for 64 years of Loretta Ann (nee Pucel); loving father of Denice Ritondaro (husband Nicholas), Timothy, Michael (wife Catherine), Robert “RJ” Jr. (wife Lynn), and Loretta Ann “Lorrie Ann” Frazier (husband Michael); devoted grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 4; cherished son of the late Benjamin and Carrie (nee Niznik); dearest brother of Dennis (wife Judy) and the late Daniel; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Robert was born on April 26, 1935 and passed away peacefully on October 7, 2019. He was a resident of Chesterland for 42 years, and has spent the last 14 years in Jamestown, NY. He attended Grand View High School and was a parishioner of St Anselm Church where he was a member of the Holy Name Society, an usher and involved in bingo. Robert was the Deputy Sheriff of Geauga County and the VP of operations for Pucel Enterprises Steel Manufacturer. He enjoyed listening to country music, fishing, hunting, boating and playing golf. During the winter months, Robert spent time cross country skiing and snowmobiling. He truly loved to travel. Robert will be remembered most as being a hardworking guy who was dedicated to his family and faith. He was very social with a great sense of humor. Robert will be forever missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, October 11, 2019 at St. Anselm Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Robert at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) THURSDAY 4-8 PM.
