Robert Fisher

ROBERT C. FISHER age 89, beloved husband for 59 years of Jeannette A. “Jan” (nee Harrold); loving father of Joseph, Allen (wife Gail) and Jennifer; devoted grandfather of Joseph and Thomas Fisher; cherished son of the late Joseph R. and Josephine (nee Beatrice); dearest brother of Rose McElhaney and the late Joseph R. Fisher, Jr.; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Robert was born on March 3, 1929 in Lowellville, Ohio and passed away on July 23, 2018. He was a resident of Lyndhurst since 1964. Robert was a parishioner of St. Clare Catholic Church where he was a member of the Finance / Investments Committee. He graduated from High School in Lowellville, Ohio and received his Bachelor’s Degree cum laude from Notre Dame University in South Bend, IN. Robert’s career spanned over 30 years with Republic Steel and then LTV in various executive positions, including as President of Republic Steel Services Group. After retiring from LTV in 1986, he founded and was President of an executive consulting firm specializing in the steel industry. Robert was an avid golfer and was an Indians and Notre Dame football fan. Robert will be remembered most as a loving husband devoted to his family and as a strong leader both in business and in guiding the raising of a family. Robert will be greatly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, July 27, 2018 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Robert at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) THURSDAY 4-7:30 PM.
