Rita Talty

RITA A.TALTY (nee Quinn) age 83, beloved wife for 44 years of Thomas P. Jr.; loving mother of Catherine O’Brien Cavanagh (husband Peter), Sharon O’Brien-Paddon (husband Steve), Trisha O’Brien Cole (husband Jeffrey), John O’Brien and Marilyn O’Brien, and step-mother of Kathryn Talty (husband Robert Venorsky), Meg Gallagher (husband Thomas) and Thomas P. Talty III (wife Melissa, deceased); devoted grandmother of Kristen McLoud (husband Patrick) and step-grandmother of Hanna Talty (fiancé Guillaume Muller-Greven), Elizabeth and Daniel Venorsky, and Christopher and Lynda Talty; cherished daughter of the late Howard and Ethel (nee Thompson) Quinn; dearest sister of Constance Platz (husband John), Howard Quinn, Diane Quinn, Ethel Payerchin (husband Frank, deceased), Kenneth Quinn (wife Loretta), Richard Quinn, deceased (wife Sharon) and the late Thomas and Mae Quinn; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Rita was born on February 10, 1935 and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 3, 2019.  She and Thomas loved to travel, especially to Ireland, England and Puerto Vallarta.  Rita will be remembered most as a loving, caring mother and wife.  She brought joy to all who knew her.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, February 8, 2019 at 11AM at DIVINE WORD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 8100 Eagle Rd, Kirtland. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rita at the CHURCH from 10AM–11AM. ARRANGEMENTS BY DEJOHN FUNERAL HOMES.
