Rita Hug

Rita A. Hug (nee DeMattie) age 88 . Beloved wife of the late Robert J.. Loving mother of Jeffrey (wife Doris), Timothy (wife Patricia) and Richard (wife Sylvia). Dearest grandmother of Daniel, Scott, Nicholas, Nathanial, Victoria, Hannah, Joseph, Casandra, Sergio and Reana. Dear sister of David DeMattie, Barbara DeMattie and the late Victor DeMattie.

Rita lived in Euclid for 60 years before moving to Middlefield and finally living in Highland Hts. Rita did secretarial work for Wagner Awnings and Progressive Insurance before joining the family owned General Industrial Supply as a bookkeeper. Rita and her husband enjoyed traveling the world and spending winters at Bradenton retirement community in Florida. She also made rosaries and knitted gloves for orphan children. Her family particularly her grandchildren gave Rita the most enjoyment in life.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, April 15th at St. Paschal Baylon Church at 1:30 PM. Interment Western Reserve Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rita at the MULLALLY FUNERAL HOME located in the DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON RD. (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) TUESDAY 4-8 PM.
