Rita Hess

RITA M. HESS (nee Schroeder), age 89. Beloved mother of Paul (wife Lin), Alan (wife Kathy), Donna Thornton (husband Keith deceased) (companion Barry Hickerson) and the late David; loving grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 8; dear sister of the late Richard Schroeder (wife Jean).

Rita was born on February 3, 1926 in Cleveland and was a long-time resident of Highland Heights.  She loved to play pinochle and other card games, Lawrence Welk and Frank Sinatra.  Rita will be remembered for her fun and social nature.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Rita’s memory to Hospice Of The Western Reserve 17876 St. Clair Ave. Cleveland, OH   44110-2602.

Burial private at Calvary Cemetery. Prayers of Christian Burial Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 6 pm at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) where the  family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rita SUNDAY 2-6 pm.
