Rino Ritosa

RINO RITOSA, age 78, beloved husband for 57 years of Alda; loving father of Sandy Bernsdorff (husband Bill), Suzana Miller (husband Brian) and Daniel (wife Sharon); devoted grandfather of Brian Miller II, Sarah and Alexandra Bernsdorff, Isabella Webinger (husband Giles), Gabriel, Abigail, Elizabeth, Faustina, Ignatius, Madonna and Pio Ritosa and great-grandfather of Penelope; cherished son of the late Pietro and Ivanka; dearest brother of Mario (wife Maria) and Nino (wife Zdenka) and the late Rev. Fr. Albino; fond brother-in-law of Valter Ritosa and Maria Macinic; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Rino was born in Ritosin Brig Istra, Croatia on July 26, 1946, and moved to Cleveland in 1965. He was a skilled woodworker who owned and operated his own business, Rino's Woodworking Shop. When he wasn't working in the shop, he enjoyed playing bocce, gardening, wine making and soccer. He was a loyal Cleveland Browns fan who loved to travel and go on cruises. Rino was a hardworking man who was devoted to his family. They will remember him fondly for his jokes and sense of humor and the way he communicated candidly and honestly. He was always giving and generous and for this and more, he will be missed terribly by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Rino to St. Noel Catholic Church or to Hospice of the Western Reserve, PO Box 72101, Cleveland, OH 44192 .

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, January 4, 2025, at St. Noel Catholic Church, 35200 Chardon Rd, Willoughby Hills at 11 AM. Entombment following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rino at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 3 -7 PM.
