RICHARD W. D’ANDREA age 77, beloved husband for 54 years of Felicia  (nee Sanfilippo); loving father of Laura Dalessandro (husband Mark) and Lynette Averill (husband Steven); devoted grandfather of Nicholas and Marissa Dalessandro and Paul and Joseph Averill; cherished son of the late Peter and Frances (nee Fanzo); dearest brother of Andrea Ottobre (husband Anthony). U.S. Army Veteran.

Richard was born in Cleveland on September 10, 1941 and passed away on July 19, 2019. He graduated from John Adams High School and worked as a maintenance mechanic for the U.S. Government. He lived in Chesterland for the past 33 years and was a member of the Church of St. Anselm. Richard loved playing cards, gambling, traveling, and enjoying spaghetti dinners with his family. He enjoyed watching football; especially the Browns. Richard loved his family most, especially his cherished grandchildren. Richard was feisty with a great sense of humor, and he will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Richard to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Relatives and friends are invited to meet for the Funeral Mass Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 10 AM at St Anselm Catholic Church 12969 Chillicothe Rd, Chesterland, 44026. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Richard at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER  OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) MONDAY 4-8 PM.
