Richard Trebec

Richard E. “Dick” Trebec, 82 of Munson Township passed away April 25 at his residence.

He was born in Cleveland , on October 30, 1932 the son of the late Helen (Centa) and Joseph Trebec.

Dick was the president of the Trebec Excavating Co. in Euclid. He was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local #18. He was a sergeant in the US Army during the Korean War where he was a tank operator. He was a stock car racing enthusiast helping pit crew teams and transporting race cars. He was also a pilot.

He is survived by his children Kimberly Handel, Kristin Mason, Richard, Robert and Randall Trebec and grandchildren Nicole (Will) Lazor, Shane Mason, Jordon Trebec, Nick Morley and Megan Trebec.

Funeral Service 10 a.m. Friday May 1, 2015 at the Zevnik-Cosic Funeral Home 28890 Chardon Rd. Willoughby Hills followed by burial in All Souls Cemetery Chardon Township. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 3-5 and 6-8 p.m.
