RICHARD A. RENBARGER, JR. age 66, beloved husband for 43 years of Bonnie (nee Bydash); loving father of Renee Brozak (husband Joe) and the late Ryan; devoted grandfather of Aubree, Brantley and Bryce; cherished son of Janet Weltman (nee Probst) and the late Richard Sr. and step-son of the late Reuben Weltman; dearest brother of Thomas; treasured son-in-law of Ruth (nee Dempsey) and the late Gerald Bydash and brother-in-law of Randi Bydash (Jeff Fogelman).

On August 26, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio, a baby boy was born who would grow to become a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. His parents raised him in the Cleveland area and he graduated from Euclid High School with the Class of 1977. Richard was a hard-working owner/operator of a successful landscaping business. Never getting enough of the outdoors, he was also an avid gardener at home, spending hours tending to his garden with a green thumb. Listening to rock-n-roll and oldies music was a favorite pastime and he furthered that interest by attending concerts of Eddie Money and South Side Johnny. A fan of Cleveland sports, he was either attending or watching a Browns, Cavs or Indians game. The role of husband, father and grandfather was what brought him the most joy. Richard’s family felt his love through his giving, selfless and easy-going manner. He would have given the shirt off his back if they needed it. Always wanting to make others laugh, his circle of friends enjoyed his social and friendly personality. Richard passed away on March 11, 2025, leaving behind wonderful memories by all who knew him.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Celebration of Life Service Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 12Noon at THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.
