Richard N. Knerr

RICHARD N. KNERR age 84, beloved husband for 62 years of Mary Ann (nee Svigel); loving father of Bryan (wife Joan) and Laurie Knerr; devoted grandfather of Dustin and Shannon; cherished son of the late Raymond and Bertha (nee Charske).

Richard was born on August 29, 1934 in Euclid and passed away on October 9, 2018. He was a resident of Highland Heights for over 50 years. Richard was a parishioner of St. Paschal Baylon and a member of the Euclid Campers Club. He graduated from Euclid High School and proudly worked as an IT analyst. Richard greatly enjoyed playing and coaching softball, playing bocce, and camping. He loved traveling the U.S, Europe, and going on cruises. Richard also enjoyed playing golf and cards in his free time. He got the most enjoyment out of life when spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was friendly, easy going, outgoing, and loved attending his grandchildren’s events. Richard will be dearly missed by all.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, October 15, 2018 at St. Pascal Baylon Catholic Church, 5384 Wilson Mills Rd. in Highland Heights at 10 AM. Private Burial at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Richard at THE CHURCH MONDAY MORNING 9:30 – 10 AM.
