Richard Motuza

RICHARD J. “RICK” MOTUZA, age 53, beloved husband for 25 years to Linda (nee Stanik); loving father of Jenna and Nicole; cherished son of Richard A. and Joan D. (nee Fifolt); treasured brother of Karen Chickletts (husband Rick); dearest brother-in-law of Michael and Ruth Stanik; fond uncle of Michael, Alex and Zachary Stanik; dear nephew, cousin and friend of many.

Richard graduated from Brush High School in 1979 and went on to open his own business, Niklee Company. He will be remembered as a giving person, as evidenced by the tremendous amount of time he spent volunteering. He served as the Chairman of the City of Willoughby Hills Recreation Committee and he coached the Willoughby South Winter League Softball at CSU and the Hurricanes Fast Pitch Girls Softball team. Richard loved the beach and golfing and enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach. What gave him the most enjoyment in life, however, were his daughters. Richard’s family will think back fondly on his great sense of humor and how loved he made them feel.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, December 5, 2014 at St. Noel Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rick at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 2-4 and 5-8 PM.
