Richard Ferguson

RICHARD MICHAEL FERGUSON, 71, of Cleveland Heights, passed away on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Bunny (nee Ortenzi), his children Natasha Michelle Ferguson (husband Christopher Hazard), and Scott Michael (wife Hannah), his grandchildren Ryce and Liam Hazard, and Dagny and Severn Ferguson, his brother Patrick (wife Diana), sister Mary Fran Elkington (husband Richard), nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph William and Mary Elizabeth (nee Davies), and his brother David and David’s wife Patricia).

Dick was born in Buffalo, New York on Dec. 9, 1944 and working in the banking field with Huntington Bank. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the former St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, where he sang in the choir.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, in the Marian Chapel of Gesu Catholic Church at 10 AM. Following the Mass, relatives and friends are invited to join the family at a reception in the Community Room of The DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home, 4600 Mayfield Rd., South Euclid (just East of Green Rd.).

On Tuesday, Dec. 29, Committal Prayers with military honors will be held at Lake View Cemetery at 1:30 PM. Please meet just inside the Mayfield Rd. entrance to Lake View.
