RICHARD D. “Dick” FALLON, age 67, of Richmond Heights passed away on January 19, 2012 at Hospice House after battling throat cancer with grace and dignity. Son of the late Richard C. and Avis, he is survived by his sisters Barb (Mike) Givan of Youngwood, PA, Karen (Bill) Bennett of Lanexa, VA, and Pat (Steve) Terry of Chelan, WA and many nieces and nephews.
Before college, Dick and family lived in China, Chile and Brazil. After graduating from Purdue University (B.S., Industrial Engineering), he received his Masters in Business from Michigan State University. He served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam Conflict as a commissioned officer in the Medical Corps, and then went on to a 33-year career with GE Lighting in Cleveland. Dick loved laughter, golf, softball and travel. His sense of humor never waned.
At his request, private family services were held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland, 44119.
