Richard Bush

RICHARD (RICK) J. BUSH age 72, beloved husband for 34 years of Sheryl (deceased); loving father of Michelle (Jay) and Craig (Jennifer) and Virginia Bush and step-father of John (Alexis) and Jayson (Janelle) Wenstrup; devoted grandfather of Brandon, Elisabeth, Connor, Andrew, Charlie, Abigail, William and Lila; cherished son of the late Albin Bush and Magdalen (nee Nekic); dearest brother of Rosanne Long (Richard) and Robert Bush.

Richard J. Bush was born on April 17, 1948 in Cleveland, OH and passed away on September 16, 2020. Richard graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1966. He was a QA/metallurgical technician for TRW and PCC Airfoils for many years. Richard was also passionate about antiquing, refinishing furniture and would spend countless hours with his wife Sheryl searching for unique items for their home and business. He was an avid sports fan and especially loved basketball, which he both played and coached. Richard loved dogs, cats, and of course, horses. Richard will be remembered as a devoted husband to his wife Sheryl, as well as a loving, patient, kind, and caring person. Richard will be missed by all the lives he touched.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Rick to the Cleveland Animal Protective League, 1729 Willey Ave., Cleveland, OH 44113. Prayers of Christian Burial Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 6 PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rick at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 4-6 PM.
