Richard A. Richard

Richard A Richard age 89, beloved son of the late Albert and Pearl (nee Zehnder); loving brother of the late Gloria Nelson and Lynn Richard; dear uncle of Donald Greg Nelson and Lynn “Lee” Richard; cherished friend of Rick and Su Morad and Jidu, “Grandfather” of Kara and Sean Morad.

Richard was born and lived in Twinsburg until moving to Chagrin Falls fifteen years ago. He attended and graduated from Solon High School in 1949. He went on to proudly serve in the United States Marine Corp.

He served as a clerk for the United States Postal Service until his retirement in 1987. Richard loved the outdoors and found great joy in feeding and watching birds. He greatly enjoyed the surrounding nature of his home and loved to walk in the woods. Richard enjoyed dancing, especially to swing music. Richard also enjoyed traveling, with his fondest memories of the Grand Canyon, San Francisco and visiting his nephew in Florida. He also had a wonderful sense of humor.

Richard was a deeply spiritual man. A devoted Christian and follower of Christ. He is remembered and a generous and giving man. He was a loving father and grandfather figure to many.
