Rebecca Dempsey

REBECCA DEMPSEY (nee Southall) age 76 was born on January 5, 1940 to the late Roy and Bethania (nee Short) Southall in Centerville, Pennsylvania and passed away on January 19, 2016. She was the beloved wife for 58 years of Morris; loving mother of Rick (wife Fiona), Kathy Borger, Nena Malone (husband Carl), and the late Douglas; devoted grandmother of Matt Dempsey, Kellie Dolinsky (Drew), Nicole Malone, Carl Malone III, Myles Dempsey, Alex Borger (fiancée Tiffany Kehlmeier), Tyler Borger and great-grandmother of Jacob and Peyton; cherished sister of the late Diana, Rexford, and John Southall; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Rebecca was a resident of Chagrin Falls for 3 years, formerly of York, Pennsylvania and Chesterland, Ohio. She attended High School in Pennsylvania and was a Special Needs Aid for Social Service Field. Rebecca was an antique glass collector. She coached softball and was an Indians fan. Rebecca will be remembered most as an easy going, caring and giving woman who loved her pets. She will be greatly missed.
