Raymond J. Schraff

RAYMOND JAMES SCHRAFF passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 63 on September 22, 2020. Raymond is survived by his wife, Susan Warthen Schraff; his son Alexander James Schraff of New York, NY; his sister Pamela Rae Schraff (Lakewood, Ohio), brother Steven Joseph Schraff (New Jersey), and two nephews; Michael and Daniel Griffin. Raymond’s parents Raymond Joseph Schraff and Mary Ellen Barry Schraff of Lakewood, preceded him in passing.

Raymond worked at Hyland Software for 20 years, for the last 8 years as the Director of Industry Development focusing on digital supply chains, logistics and blockchains with companies throughout the Middle East and Europe. He was a participating member of the World Customs Organization and a domain expert with the USA Delegation/United Nations CEFACT. Raymond has 7 US Patents from his prior work in the steel industry.

Raymond was an avid reader and had many interests. However, his passion was music and history. In his early years Raymond was a bass player with the “Baloney Heads.” His love of music and learning was always with him. And most of all he was a kind man.
