RAYMOND EARL ADAMIC age 75, beloved husband for 56 years of Catherine (nee Zanghi); loving father of Raymond, Patrick, and Caterina Petty (husband Dennis); devoted grandfather of Laura Guendert (husband Stephen) and Sarah Adamic, Abigail and Julia Petty.
Ray lived in Willoughby Hills since 1968. Most recently he and Catherine split time between Florida and Ohio, prior to that they lived in Euclid. Ray was born and raised in Cleveland. He graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in 1964 and went on to attend Cleveland State University. Ray was a life-long entrepreneur. He enjoyed golfing, traveling and playing the slot machines. He was a member of golf clubs in Florida and St. Noel Catholic Church, where he was a member of the parish. He was an avid reader. Ray was a fan of both the Cleveland Browns and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also enjoyed the music of the 1970s.
Ray was hardworking and ambitious. He was also generous and giving. He was a caring man who was devoted to his faith and his family and will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Ray to the St. Noel Endowment Fund, 35200 Chardon Rd, Willoughby Hills, OH 44094.
Friends and relatives are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial Friday, February 25, 2022 at St. Noel Catholic Church at 2 PM. Entombment following at All Souls Cemetery Mausoleum. Arrangements by THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91).
