PHYLLIS E. PLUMMER (nee John) age 92, beloved wife of the late Leroy B.; loving mother of Brenda Leggon, Christina John, Deborah Plummer Bussey (husband Michael), Eloisa Wright, Nancy Plummer, Felicia Davis (husband Derwin), and Paul Plummer; devoted grandmother of Cherie Hogan (husband Gary), Marie Wrighten, Leslie Wright, Mercedes Davis, Patrik Plummer, Blake Davis, Stephan Plummer and great-grandmother of Gabriella, Janiah, and Tristan; cherished daughter of the late James and Christina (nee Mitchell) John; dearest sister of the late Clement, Hector, and C. Patrick John (wife Irene); dear auntie of many; adopted mom and granny of many.
Phyllis was born May 23, 1926 and passed away May 30, 2018. She was a resident of Massachusetts for the last 7 years and previously lived in Cleveland Heights and spent many years residing in Huntsburg, Ohio. Phyllis was a parishioner of St. Agnes-Our Lady of Fatima for 20 years and previously St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in South Euclid. She attended school in Panama and came to the United States in 1951. After coming to the United States, she worked as an inspector for Geauga Industries and was also a homemaker. Phyllis loved to cook and enjoyed sewing, dancing, reading and traveling. She also loved the Indians and Cavs. Phyllis will be remembered as a vivacious, social and outgoing woman who was very fashionable, gregarious and funny. She was always very social and full of life. Phyllis will be doing Zumba in heaven and will be dearly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Agnes-Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church 6800 Lexington Ave., Cleveland, OH 44103. Burial following at Lake View Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Phyllis at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) TUESDAY 4-8 PM and at THE CHURCH WEDNESDAY MORNING 9:30-10:30AM.
