PHYLIS A. LUDWIG, age 68; beloved daughter of the late Philip M. and Anna M. (nee Schultz); dearest sister of Philip J. (wife Gail) of CO; loving aunt of Shawn, Brian (wife Erin), Stacy and great-aunt of Dakota John, Sheyann Shay and Silas Everett Ludwig; dear godmother of Kristen Janowski, Tammy Thamer and Eddy Katich; cherished friend of many.

Phylis was a graduate of Mayfield High School and Homecoming Queen for the Class of 1963. She continued her education at M. B. Johnson School of Nursing, where she was Class President and graduated in 1966. As a Registered Nurse at the Cleveland Clinic for over 30 years, she was also the Co-Founder and President of the Ohio Dermatology Nurses Association and a Charter Member of the Dermatology Nurses Association. 17 years ago, Phylis moved to Boulder CO. There she worked for Boulder Dermatology and Balfour Senior Living. She was a former Treasurer and Board Member of the Huntington Point Homeowners Association as well as Secretary of the Gunbarrel Commons Park Board. Her family will fondly remember her as a caring, giving woman who always tried to help others and loved the holidays.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, January 6, 2014 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. A Mass of Christian Burial in memory of Phylis will take place on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church – 3791 Pike Rd., Longmont, Colorado.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Phylis at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) SUNDAY, JANUARY 5, 2014 from 2-6 PM.
