PHILLIP V. VITELLO age 85, beloved husband for 64 years of Helen L. (nee Kleindienst); loving father of Richard (wife Kimberly), Michael (wife Gloria), Anthony (wife Mary), James, and Lorraine Drewa (husband Paul); devoted grandfather of Phillip, Anne, Mackenzie, Austin, Zoe, Madison, Cassidy and great-grandfather of Olivia and Phillip; cherished son of the late Carl and Anna (nee Zaletal); U.S. Air Force Korean Conflict Veteran.
Phillip was born on June 21, 1931 and passed away on February 2, 2017. Phillip was a life time employee of Reliance Electric where he was a production Control manager. He also owned and operated the Mr. Donut shop in East Cleveland for a short time. He was a member the Fraternal Order of Foresters and the American Philatelic Society. Phillip was an avid gardener, fisherman, bowler and stamp collector. He loved the outdoors and nature. Phillip also enjoyed visiting casinos with his wife. His family described him as a private man with a good sense of humor as well as loving, generous, kind, hardworking, and stubborn at times.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following with Military Honors at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Phillip at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) TUESDAY 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
