Philip Schepis

PHILIP J. SCHEPIS age 86, born on October 28, 1929 in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to the late Nicholas and Grace (nee Amalfi) passed away on September 4, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Katherine L. (nee Young); devoted father of Nicholas J. (Connie Versagi); cherished grandfather of Nicholas R.; dearest brother of Susan Mauceri and the late Katherine Regalbuto and Mary Cazier. U.S. Army Korean War Veteran.

Philip was a resident of Mayfield Heights for over 30 years, formerly residing in Lyndhurst. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Philip graduated from John Carroll University. He was the Supervisor of the Building and Grounds at Mayfield High School. Philip loved working on cars, electronics, and carpentry. He loved following the stock market and day trading. Philip will be remembered as selfless, very responsible, family oriented, adored dogs, and the nicest guy.
