PETER J. COMPO, age 88, beloved husband for 61 years of Marijayne C. (nee Cassidy); loving father of Roger (Karen), Regina Ohlrogge (Russ) and Renee Marincic (Kenny); devoted grandfather of Dominic (Melissa), Karmell (Angela) and Nickolas Ohlrogge and David Maksymowicz and great grandfather of Keelan, Montey, Mia and Lucas; dearest son of the late Tony and Nina (nee Depasquale) Compo; cherished brother of the late Anthony N. (wife Anita); dear uncle and great-uncle of many.
Peter has lived in Euclid for the last 60 years where he attended Sts. Robert and William Catholic Church for the past 5 years and was a parishioner previously at St. Christine Catholic Church. Peter was in the Navy and served in WWII. Peter was an active member of Knights of Columbus Gilmour Council #310, Little Italy Retirees, Euclid AARP and Teamsters #964. He worked as a diesel mechanic for many years. When Peter wasn’t working he enjoyed golf and playing softball as well as listening to piano music. Peter was a true Cleveland Fan, he loved watching the Indians and the Browns. He will be remembered most as a fun, strong willed, determined and resourceful hard worker. He had an exemplary work ethic and was a jack of all trades. Peter got the most enjoyment in life from his family and watching his Cleveland teams play.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Sts. Robert and William Catholic Church at 11:30 AM. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory. Private Burial.
