She had a long and devoted career as a nurse until retiring in 2020. Peggy worked in many hospitals including Huron Road, Hillcrest, and Cleveland Clinic – Main Campus. She was diverse in her career working in Critical Care, Coronary Care, Nuclear Medicine, and Radiology. Her dedication to nursing even lead to her last few years as a Hospice nurse. She truly was passionate, dedicated, and was an excellent nurse. Peggy loved to read, listen to music, decorate, and collect, especially anything related to Gone With The Wind. Spending time with her children, family, and friends always gave her the greatest joy. Helping co-workers was always something important to her and she often was a leader everywhere she worked. Peggy and her husband Dennis always enjoyed old and classic movies. She couldn’t be disturbed during episodes of her favorite show Jeopardy. And being at her home during Jeopardy meant you were participating in the game as well!
Peggy loved family gatherings at Thanksgiving and Christmas. She was always adored by her children Lia and Ian. Peggy remained like an Angel in their eyes every day of her life. She was an amazing Mom that truly loved every minute of being the best Mom! Her family describes Peggy as kind, patient, funny, wise, loved to laugh, smart, intelligent, and the hardest worker always to give to her children what they needed and wanted. She was adventurous and always enjoyed family trips to cities all around the country where she encouraged her kids to learn every trip. Peggy always put others first and would never ask someone to do what she didn’t believe in or would do herself.
