PEGGY MARIE KAWA (nee Hoenigman), aged 79 years, beloved wife of the late Frank, dearest mother of Nancy Farragher (Tom), Susanne Ciuprinskas (Ron - deceased), Darlene Puljic (Mike), Francine, Frank, Kelly Newberry (Matt), Kerry Morosko (Chris), Tammy Blue (Kevin) and Kenny, loving grandmother of Kevin, Brian (deceased), Krystal, Shannon, Sara, Karly (deceased), Ronnie Sue, Charlie, Nicole, Tyler, Logan, Jonathan, Madeline, Katelyn, Luke, Lexi, Jason and Shaun, great-grandmother of Vince and J.J., cherished sister of Dolores Giera, Kathleen Gibson, Aloysius Hoenigman, Fred Hoenigman and Rita Phillips, aunt and great-aunt.
Daughter of June and Aloysius Hoenigman. Beloved wife for 46 years. She raised nine children in the city of South Euclid where she was known for being an avid walker, bike rider and even roller blader at one time. She was very into fitness and often followed the advice of the famous fitness coach Jack LaLanne. During her time as a wife and homemaker, she helped to support her family through extreme couponing. She was very successful at it. Some of her hobbies included listening to music, reading the newspaper and drinking her favorite coffee, Taster's Choice.
She loved Daryl Hall and John Oats as well as classic oldies. When she would let herself indulge, she loved eating cookies and cakes or anything sweet. When she was in grade school, she worked in the sacristy with the nuns at Epiphany. This was something she spoke fondly about. She was a wonderful mother who instilled a strong work ethic into her children. She was up every morning, at times before 6am, where you would find her preparing for the day or working out. She followed her own very strict schedule to ensure everything would get done for everyone. She was an amazing cook and made home cooked meals everyday. She will be missed greatly by many.
