Pearl Leidecker

PEARL J. LEIDECKER age 83; beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Florence (nee Thomas) Leidecker; loving sister of Gloria and the late John and Fred; treasured aunt and surrogate mother to Cathey Disanto, Sandy Sanchez, great-aunt of Fritz, Mike and Lisa Michalk and great-great-aunt of many.

Pearl grew up in Akron but lived in Lyndhurst for over 50 years. After graduating from high school in Akron, Pearl worked in the office at Beitler-McKee in Cleveland, where she never missed a day of work. She loved being with her family and spending time with her sister. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, shopping and sharing meals and snacks. Her family was her greatest joy and even after they grew up, she had a propensity to gather others into her midst and heart where she would share stories, jokes, laughter and love.

Celebration of Life Service Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 4 PM, at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91). Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Pearl SATURDAY 2-4 PM.
