Pavo Begovic

Pavo Begovic, 89, of Eastlake, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2019.

He was born March 14, 1930 in Glina, Kordun, Croatia. Pavo lived in Cerna, Slavonija and immigrated to the U.S. on Sept. 18, 1969. He worked at MTD for 26 years.

Pavo was a fun loving, hard working man. He loved his Croatian heritage and worked for all Croatian organizations effortlessly. A devout Catholic, active within St. Paul’s Croatian Church. He enjoyed singing, dancing and had a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his daughters: Mary Headley (Raymond) and Nada Wardeiner (Mark); his 9 grandchildren; his 9 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Manda; his daughter, Ana Begovic-Juhant and his son, Ivan; and his grandson, Brian Blecic.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Pavo at the DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28990 Chardon Road (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91), Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 4-8pm. Funeral Mass, Wednesday, 10 AM at St. Paul Croatian Church, 1369 East 40th Street, Cleveland (Please Meet at Church). Interment All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
