PAUL J. MAYAUSKY, 84, beloved husband for 46 years of Linda (nee Blazenyak); loving father of Monica Zirke (husband Timothy), Paul (wife Robbin), Kimberly Cheraso (husband James), Lisa Curtis (fiancé Thom Kozlevcar), Deborah Chokshi (husband Michael) and Jason (wife Suzanne); devoted grandfather of Jeffrey Zirke, Jennifer Calabria, Luke Tomon, Alyssa and Alexandria Cheraso, Kendra and Jacob Curtis, Sophia, Taman, Gabriel and Oliver Chokshi, Nora and Adam Mayausky and great-grandfather of Savannah Puz and Lillian London; cherished son of the late Joseph and Mary (nee Marusa); dearest brother of Edward (wife Linda), Eugene (wife Jeanne), Darlene Horvath (husband Tom, deceased) and the late Mary Jane Ober (husband Robert, deceased) dear uncle and great-uncle of many. Survived by his canine companion Whitney.
Paul was called to his eternal resting place on August 15, 2022. He entered this world on April 28, 1938 in Dixonville, PA, born to Joseph and Mary Mayausky. Paul was a dedicated truck driver for Bargar Metal Fabricating Company. He enjoyed being in the outdoors fishing and hunting. He truly cherished spending time with his family, joking around and he loved animals. Paul was a Browns and Indians fan and loved playing the saxophone in his Polka Band. He will always be remembered as a friendly, social guy, who was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Paul will forever be missed.
Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, August 20, 2022 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd, Concord, OH 44077 at 11 AM. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Paul at THE DeJOHN Funeral Home & Crematory of Chardon (formerly Ritondaro) 126 South St. (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) FRIDAY 4-8 PM and SATURDAY MORNING 10-11AM AT THE CHURCH.
