Paul E. Falzone

PAUL E. FALZONE age 75, loving father of Dina Krakora (husband James), Monica Eve Falzone, Victoria Baker (husband Jeremiah), and step-father of Rita Smith (husband Timothy); devoted grandfather of Isaac, Tommy, Jackson, Nicole, Sophia, and Jacob; cherished son of the late Peter J.  and Evelyn (nee Johnson) Falzone; dearest brother of Peter (wife Elaine), Karen Taylor (husband Lawrence), Lawrence (wife Judy), and the late Joseph; dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend of many. Survived by his K-9 granddogs Coco, Buddy, Rudi, Bruno, and Sweet Pea.

Paul was born in Cleveland on July 25, 1945 and passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 7, 2020. He was a resident of Bratenahl for 20 years, and prior to that lived in Richmond Heights.  Paul grew up in Collinwood, graduated from Collinwood High School in 1963, and went on to attend Ohio University and Cleveland State University.  He was a Cleveland Policeman for 30 years, Bratenahl Chief of Police for 14 years, and a graduate of the FBI Academy.  Paul’s hobbies included golfing, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, watching Cleveland Sports, and attending his daughters and grandchildren’s sporting events.  He loved listening to music and spending time with his grand dogs.  Paul was a wine enthusiast, food connoisseur, and was known for his meatballs and sauce.  Family and friends describe him as generous, thoughtful, very social, well known, well liked, selfless, and giving.  A devoted father and grandfather, he was hospitable and treated everyone like family.  He was a jokester with a great sense of humor, and will be missed by so many.
