PAUL T. “TIMMY” BOYD age 74, beloved husband for 16 years of Lynn (Gromelski) (nee DeBrouse); loving father of Tracy Hall, Dennis Boyd (wife Debra) and Jodie Conley and step-father to Michael and Deanne Gromelski; devoted grandfather of Kendra, Megann, Timothy, Baili and Michael, and great-grandfather of Brooklyn; cherished son of Esther (nee Hoehn) and the late John; dearest brother of John, Terrence (wife Alicia), Gary, Dennis (wife Kelly), Judy Horner (husband Ivan) and the late Barbara Glaubach; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Paul was born March 15, 1942 in Cleveland, OH and passed away August 4th in Chesterland, where he has lived for the past 30 years, previously residing in Newbury. Paul graduated from Newbury High School in 1961, where he was involved in football, track and basketball. He had a football scholarship to Western Kentucky University, where he incurred a football injury that ended his career. Paul enjoyed golf, gardening, playing softball and watching the Browns, Indians and Cavs. He was a very likable person and will be remembered for his generous, caring, and kind nature and for his devotion to his wife and family.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Celebration of Life Service Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 7:30 PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Private burial will take place at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Paul at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just South of Mayfield Rd.)
