Paul Boslett

PAUL J. BOSLETT, 83, a longtime resident of Kirtland, passed away on January 31, 2016 at the Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.

He was born on July 6, 1932, in Bakerton, PA to the late Raymond and Agatha (nee Dunlap) Boslett. Paul was a U.S. Army Veteran. Following his service, Paul attended St Francis University in Loretto, PA and earned a degree in accounting. He was employed as an accountant for General Motors working at the Coit Rd. and Euclid plants until he retired in the late 80’s.

Paul was a longtime parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and volunteered for many years at the Oktoberfest. In addition, Paul spent much of his free time at the Kirtland Senior Center where he was an avid bocce ball player.  Most of all, Paul enjoyed watching sporting events involving his numerous grandchildren.

He is survived by his children; Mark W. (wife Faye deceased) of Brunswick, OH, Thomas E. (wife Kathy) of Hinsdale, IL, Carole Kordic (husband Branko) of Troy, MT, Brian J., Greg A., Don P., Christine R; grandchildren Brianna, William, Amanda, Abbie, Mary, Trevor, Taryn; his brother Raymond (wife Alice) of Hollidaysburg, PA; sister-in-law Simone Boslett of Kingman, AZ ; and many nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife Jane M. (nee Carroll) who died in April 2006, and his brother Robert J.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday February 3, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 37932 Euclid Ave. Willoughby at 11AM.  Burial following with Military Honors at All Souls Cemetery.  Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Paul at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) TUESDAY 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
