On May 28, 2021 Patrick Howard Handley left this world. He was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, friend, and Poppy to his dogs. Pat was a graduate of Mentor High School. During his high school career, he was a Boy Scout and horticulture graduate. He enjoyed years of camping, biking, gardening, and hiking, especially on the Appalachian Trail. However, the great joys of his life consisted of his dogs and the travels he and Sue took, specifically staying at Nani Kai Hale 309 on the warm beaches of Maui. He spent many years working at Handley’s Appliance with his dad. Pat’s lifelong love, Sue, will miss him most, along with his dogs Cody, Maggie, and Hannah and many feline friends.
Pat is survived by his wife Sue, sister Traci (Mark) Yoho, brother Steve Handley, brother-in-law Rich (Amy) Stavar, nieces and nephews Carli, Connor (fiancé Jori), Leigh and Ben, uncles Bill (Patty) Tompkins and Charles Howard, mother-in-law Sonja Stavar (Benjamin, Maida, and Rok), and best friends who were like brothers Bill Boyd and Bill Howie, cousins Stephanie (Dennis), Kyle (Tammie), Chris and Jon Thorne, and Hilary (Mike), and many more extended family members and friends, including Tony Salomone and Wayne Forbes.
A PRIVATE BURIAL will be held at All Souls Cemetery.
