Patricia R. Novak

PATRICIA R. NOVAK (nee Sernel) age 75, beloved wife of the late Louis J.; loving mother of Karen, Antoinette Thomey (husband Charles) and Louis (wife Erica); devoted grandmother of Christian and Gabrielle Thomey; cherished daughter of the late Anthony and Elizabeth (nee Hribar) Sernel; dearest sister of the late Fred Sernel; dear aunt and great-aunt of many. She is survived by her fur grand-babies Cooper and Obi.

Patricia was born on and October 5, 1946 and died peacefully on July 29, 2022. She attended and graduated from Euclid High School in 1964 and went on to attend the Euclidian Beauty School. She worked as a hairdresser and enjoyed crafting. She especially enjoyed ceramics, crochet, sewing and movies. Patricia also found joy in watching her grandchildren and attending their sporting events. She also loved her plants.

Patricia was social and friendly. She was honest with a warm sense of humor and didn’t have a filter. She made people laugh. She was devoted to her family and will be missed by all.

Contributions may be made in memory of Patricia to the Slovene Home for the Aged or to St. Mary Church (Collinwood). Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Relative and friends are requested to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 10 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 15519 Holmes Ave, Cleveland, OH 44110. Burial will take place later in All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Patricia at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM.
