PATRICIA ANN PALKO (nee Koeritzer), aged 80 years, dearly beloved wife for 45 years to the late John J., dearest mother of Linda Marie and the late baby Raymond, cherished daughter of the late Kurt and Mary (nee Stasz) Koeritzer, devoted God-mother to Isabella Driscole and Yealay Matthew.

Pat enjoyed gardening and all of the beauty of nature. She loved the companionship of her two golden retrievers – Brandi and Ginger. She was an avid theater goer, from Broadway to the Cleveland Playhouse. She had been a very active member of Christ the King Catholic Parish in East Cleveland, until the closing of the church. She has been a devout member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Parish in Euclid for the past 4 years. She was active with the St. Paschal Clown and Helping Hands Ministry where she was able to reach out with compassion to many marginalized members of our society.
She and her late husband John met at the St. Benedict Catholic Church canteen dance, where the first song they ever danced to was “Good nite, Sweetheart”. They carried that theme through 45 years of marriage. She had a very special and close bond with her daughter, Linda Marie, who is thankful for the many years they had together, but will miss her terribly.

In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Pat’s memory are suggested to St. John of the Cross Liturgical Tribute Fund, 140 Richmond Rd., Euclid, OH. 44143; or to St. Paschal Baylon Helping Hands Ministry, 5384 Wilson Mills Rd., Highland Heights, OH. 44143, two groups that were close to Pat’s heart.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, June 13, 2014 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church at 11 AM. Entombment following in All Souls Cemetery.
