Patricia K. “Pat” Mccubbin

PATRICIA K. “Pat” MCCUBBIN age 71, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2018; cherished daughter of the late James and Marjorie (nee Penland) McCubbin; dearest sister of the late James McCubbin.  Pat was born on November 20, 1947 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was a resident of the greater Cleveland area for many years and was an active member of Bethany Covenant Church for over 20 years. Pat was very involved within her church community including Emmaus, Chrysalis, Kairos, and the Bill Glass Prison Ministry.

She graduated from Shaker Heights High School and attended Wittenberg University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism. Pat proudly worked as a Journalist and Copy Editor for the Plain Dealer. In her free time, she greatly enjoyed reading, listening to Gilbert and Sullivan, and working with the Prison Ministry to serve others. Pat was quiet, contemplative, yet very intelligent. She will be dearly missed by all.
