Patricia Granoff

PATRICIA A. GRANOFF (nee Philipson) age 92, beloved wife for 68 years of the late Melvin; loving mother of David and Susanne Granoff (wife Diane Loeffert); devoted grandmother of Taryn Isaacs (husband Andrew), Allison Hale (husband Mark), Sam, Aaron and Skyler Granoff and great-grandmother of Eva, Ethan and Trey; cherished daughter of the late Walter and Alice (nee Rasmussen) Philipson; dearest sister of the late Donald (wife Jane deceased), Gene (wife Marge), Calvin and Will Philipson (wife Sylvia deceased); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Patricia was born November 15, 1931 in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota and graduated from the local high school in 1949. Continuing her education, she obtained her bachelor's degree from Hamlin College and her master's degree in social work from Western Reserve University in Cleveland. As an organized, friendly and caring individual, Patricia excelled as a social worker and, most importantly, as a homemaker.

Her tenacious and giving personality led her to become a volunteer and eventually the national president of the American Cancer Society. During her free time, Patricia enjoyed tennis, swimming, card games, especially Bridge, crocheting and singing along to Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra. Patricia passed away on July 22, 2024, leaving her family to miss her welcoming personality and warm smile.
