NORMAN J. VALENTINO, age 77; beloved husband for 56 years of Sandra (nee Vaccariello); loving father of Timothy J., Daniel M. (wife Sheri) (nee Vienna), Luann Gunner (husband Alan); devoted grandfather of Nicholas, Veronica, Mary (deceased), Marissa, Ashley, Taylor, Alexandra, Bailey and Tyler; cherished son of the late Anthony and Lucille (nee Nichols) Valentino; treasured brother of the late Ronald (wife Dehlia, deceased) and Mary Anne Vitale (husband Ralph, deceased); dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend of many.
Norm was born January 14, 1938 in Cleveland. He grew up in South Euclid, graduated from Brush High School and attended Fenn College for 2 years. Norm lived in the Little Italy neighborhood of Cleveland before moving to Mayfield Heights in 1966. He was a parishioner of the Church of St. Clare. Norm was the Vice President of Sales with Interlake Stamping Corporation. He loved to collect bottle toppers, travel and golf. Norm enjoyed play cards, especially Rummy and Solitaire. 50’s music was Norm’s favorite, particularly Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. His family is what gave Norm the most enjoyment in life. Norm will be remembered most as a kind, family-oriented, sociable and reserved man.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, September 5, 2015 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 9:30 AM. Entombment following at Knollwood Mausoleum. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Norm at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) FRIDAY 3-5 and 6-8 PM.
